Writers Actually used to be known as Jubaboom Media, a business originally founded in 2015 to help local small and medium companies harness the potential of content marketing.

Initially offering video production, content strategy and copywriting services, founder Vince Wong rebranded it as Writers Actually in 2017 to focus the business on copywriting as its core service.

As an award-winning television scriptwriter, and a magazine editor, professional copywriter and video producer, Vince Wong is uniquely suited for thought leadership in mass media, having accumulated 25 years of expertise in professional writing for diverse audiences.

Before starting Jubaboom Media, he spent nearly a decade at the helm of three local health print magazines, distilling the most complex science the world has ever known into engaging, consumer-friendly content.

He is also the creator of the original Channel 5 TV series "Chase", starring Thai VJ Utt and Taiwanese singer Linda Liao, which aired in 2005. "Chase" was inspired by his original television script for a 13-part TV series, "Chase - Pilot", for which he won a 2003 Golden Pen award, MDA's highest honour for local scriptwriting talent. The script was later made into a telemovie in 2004.
